Roof-us standing by a metal gate

Roof-us really enjoyed his Curry Takeaway last week. Thanks to all the volunteers.

He is looking forward to the Easter Egg Trail and hopes that you have put  something in for the “What the Village Hall means to you” Easter Competition.

Roof-us is entering his ditty!

Roses are red

Daffodils are yellow

That Roof-us is an unhappy fellow

Roses are red

Hyacinths are blue

There’s a hole in the roof and the rain gets through

Help Roof-us smile

Just send a text to buy that tile

And another one!

Spring is sprung

The grass is ris

I wonder where that Roof-us is

He seems to be standing by a gate

Send a text before its too late

Roof-us with his bag a rubbish and a bucket doing the Village Spring Clean

Roof-us has been really busy this week working with the happy band of volunteers doing the Parish Spring Clean.

He will be challenging Malcom for the Top Prize in the Heaviest Potato Crop at the Village Show so will be picking up his bucket and  potato on Wednesday and will be trying out the new Peat Free compost from SCEnSus in the red bucket, as well as his own secret recipe in the blue bucket.

With all this going on Roof-us is really pleased that he has ordered a Curry from the Village Hall and can look forward to a relaxing Friday Night.

To help him have an even better Friday why not help him to raise money for his much needed roof.

Did you work out where Roof-us was last week? He was lurking around Pauline’s woodshed just up from the New Inn.

This week he searched the village to find this next spot. Where is it?

Roof-us is round and about again.

Congratulations to those of you who worked out that he was by the water path gate on the village green, last week.

Roof-us is really worried that he may blow his top in the next few days! High winds forecast so he will need to hold on to his roof again. With your help he could even get a new one!

Check out the website on ways that you can help.
