Wednesday 6 May 2026 , 7.30pm at the Village Hall

Refreshments provided prior to the meeting

The Open Parish Meeting is a legacy from the Middle Ages, when Local Councils did not exist, and all local decision making was carried out by meetings of the whole community, taking place in a church vestry. It is open to all electors in the Parish , who have the right to attend and speak on local matters of interest.
This year, the annual Open Parish meeting will consider the Parish Council priorities and ask parishioners for their thoughts and ideas. It will also hear from representatives of the Village Hall and St Andrew’s Church regarding their activities in the past year and future plans in 2026/27. The meeting is here to listen to parishioners views and ideas and the agenda concludes with a question and answer session.
