Clip art of a garden in full bloom

Sunday, 30 June, from 11am to 4pm

A date has been set for this enjoyable event and we are looking for willing gardeners across the parish to throw open their gates.

Gardens of all shapes, sizes and styles – from tidy borders to wildflower/wildlife havens – are welcome ... there's no need to be a plant expert with a ‘perfect’ plot!

This event is usually held every two years. In 2022, as a result of the generosity and kindness of those who opened their gardens – as well as the many members of the community and visitors who supported it – funds raised made a significant and much appreciated contribution towards the cost of the new roof for the Village Hall (since completed to great effect, with additional funding from the Lottery). St Andrew’s put its money towards a new smoke alarm system for the Church Rooms. The Village Hall Committee is now working towards enhancing storage provision at the hall, replacing the dishwasher and improving parking facilities.

Proceeds will be divided between the Village Hall and St Andrew's Church.

If you are interested in opening your garden, please contact Joy Tucker at bobandjoytucker@gmail.com or on 07749 522996.

Thank you.
